Lux Hotel officially opens January in Miami Beach's Mid-Beach area. The 40-room property at 4121 Indian Creek Drive in Miami Beach was formerly the Alamo Hotel, and underwent a $4 million renovation for the new brand. Rooms at Lux Hotel range from 250 square feet to 350 square feet and rates begin at $129 a night.
