The Spa, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur Offers Holistic Rejuvenation And The Chance To Give Back To Nature

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is delighted to introduce a new Tropical Rainforest Spa Experience, inspired by the tropical climate of South-East Asia. As part of its ongoing commitment to do ‘more for a sustainable future’ the hotel will donate part of the proceeds of every treatment sold to the Malaysian Nature Society.

This 2-hour 20-minute exotic spa journey starts with a rejuvenating foot ritual followed by tropical spa body treatments consisting of a body polish, body wrap and Asli massage, which embodies healing traditions and beauty rituals from many corners of Malaysia.

Influenced by the aborigines of Borneo, Asli body massage is a technique applied to ease the muscles, focusing on individual pressure points using aromatic oil that contains Malaysia’s homegrown herbs and spices.

Guests can personalise their spa journey with a selection of body polish and body wraps which contains Malaysia’s homegrown herbs and spices:
Body Polish
Borneo coffee scrub with Borneo coffee, ginseng and Cassia Leaf
Coconut and Vanilla with coconut, vanilla and glutinous rice
Hibiscus and Rose with hibiscus, rose petals and ground rice
Body Wrap
Boreh spice traditional with clove, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon
Mococa Borneo with Borneo cocoa, coconut milk powder and ground rice
For every Tropical Rainforest Spa Experience sold, The Spa will contribute five percent of the proceeds to support the Malaysian Nature Society. The Spa journey is priced at RM 820+ per person.

The hotel’s ISO 14001 Environmental System policy achieved in 2003 focuses on alleviating the adverse effects on the environment, and preventing pollution whilst maintaining the hotel’s quality standards. This new initiative is part of the hotel’s commitment to making a difference towards the community.
