Home2 Suites Opens in Mississippi

RIDGELAND, MS—Home2 Suites by Hilton Jackson/Ridgeland opened , giving the extended-stay brand its 21st property. 

The property is owned by New Vision Ridgeland Hotel, LLC, and is managed by New Vision Hotel Management.

The four-story, 92-suite hotel is located at 526 Evergreen St. off I-55 and a short distance from  shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Nearby attractions include Ross Barnett Reservoir, Natchez Trace Parkway, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Renaissance at Colony Park.

"Jackson and its surrounding communities are a growing hub for major businesses and recreational attractions, making it an ideal location to grow our presence in Mississippi," stated Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites by Hilton.

Home2 Suites by Hilton currently has more than 70 properties in its development pipeline. It is expected to open its first property in Querétaro, Mexico, later this year and has signed its first deal to open a property in Edmonton, Canada, according to the company.
