Some
of the world's largest hotel chains are looking to Asia as their main
focus for expansion in the coming years.
Starwood
Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has 153 pipeline projects in Asia, while
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) plans to double its Southeast
Asian presence, and Accor has planned for 45 per cent of its 104,000
new rooms to be located in the Asia Pacific.
This
growth coupled with more tourist arrivals, an increasing number of
airlines and a vibrant F&B scene, is testament to the region's
ever expanding hospitality industry. The upcoming 19th edition of
HotelAsia is well poised to serve this growing demand. The event is
one of the region's most anticipated international trade exhibition
of hotel, restaurant and foodservice equipment, supplies and
services. From food processing to cooking equipment, HotelAsia is the
main event where buyers from all across Asia will gather to source
for the latest food service products.
To
be held from 8 - 11 April 2014 at the Singapore Expo, with about a
year to go, HotelAsia2014 has already attracted interest from major
local and international industry players.
A

HotelAsia
is highly anticipated among industry leaders in Singapore. These
anchor firms look forward to and strongly support the show by
exhibiting repeatedly. Some prominent companies who will be
exhibiting at next year's event include Apexlink, Continental
Equipment, Cretel Food Equipment, Fabristeel, K&Q Bros Electrical
Engineering Company, Jackie's Enterprises, Nayati, Simplex,
Somerville and Steel Industries.
Lured
by the continued growing scale and success of the show, international
industry leaders have also booked their spaces early to participate
