Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announces that it has been selected by The Grand Caymanian Ltd., a Grand Cayman-owned hotel and resort development company to manage the Grand Caymanian Resort on Grand Cayman.
The
Grand Caymanian Resort is located at 278 Crighton Drive, directly on
the North Sound adjacent to the North Sound Golf Club. The property
is undergoing extensive modifications and improvements to become the
Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman in early 2013—in time for the
tourist season. Enhancements to the interior and exterior of the
resort are being made to provide guests with the amenities and
services they expect in a high-quality resort, including free Wi-Fi
access in all guestrooms, public areas and meeting spaces;
expanded food
and beverage options to include a signature
Breakfast Buffet and enhanced dining options such as “kids under 12
eat free”; children’s activity programs; interactive water
features on the main pool
deck; and upgraded bath amenities. Resort amenities
include a beachside freshwater pool with a sundeck; a private boat
dock featuring regular excursions to the
island’s most popular attractions such as Stingray City, snorkeling
on the reefs, scuba
diving, and deep sea fishing. Championship golf is
also in close proximity to the resort.
“The
Grand Caymanian Resort is located on one of the Caribbean’s most
delightful destinations,” said James Carroll, President & Chief
Executive Officer of Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “We are
excited to work with the group at Grand Caymanian Ltd as we bring our
hospitality management experience to the island and help enhance this
resort’s reputation as a first class destination hotel,” added
Carroll.
This
agreement reflects the growth of Crestline’s management business in
the Caribbean. Crestline Hotels & Resorts is in discussions with
a number of hotel owners in the region who are looking to bring in
professional management whose expertise in sales and marketing will
drive incremental revenues.
