Asia, 3 – 6 June 2013, Shanghai
International
Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Asia 2013 - welcoming 490 luxury travel
buyers and agents representing high-net worth individuals from across
the Asia Pacific region - promises escalating business opportunities
for its guest list of luxury travel suppliers from all four corners
of the world.
ILTM
Asia 2013 will welcome almost 500 contemporary and classic luxury
travel suppliers to meet with the elite Asia Pacific travel
specialists and buyers during the 3-day event. The event allows
these buyers to visit the high end, authentic products and services
from over 70 countries defining luxury travel experiences today.
Alison
Gilmore, ILTM Exhibition Director commented:
“ILTM
Asia’s hand-picked guest list brings the world’s premium creators
of luxury travel experiences to Shanghai. This year, Latin
America is leading the way: profiling expeditions along the Amazon,
in-depth visions of South American contemporary art and authentic,
adventurous tours throughout the Andes. Latin America joins
inspirational products and services from all over the world at ILTM
Asia 2013 to dazzle buyers from the key burgeoning markets across the
Asia Pacific, from Japan to Australia, India to Taiwan and China to
Korea.”
Original
and unexpected travel experiences from Latin America include Brazil’s
travel design experts Matuete; Journey Mexico – specialising in
adventure, Mayan exploration and revealing Mexico’s natural beauty
and heritage; Mai 10, Argentine experts offering tailor-made
itineraries to exceed expectations of families, adventurous
individuals and groups from across the world; and the best of Peru
with luxury travel specialists Aracari.
Como
Hotels will also participate in ILTM Asia 2013, presenting their
luxury properties and latest openings from around the world from
urban hotels and wellness resorts to adventure retreats and island
getaways. Pamela Balce, Regional Director of Sales, Asia
Pacific at Como Hotels commented:
“ILTM
Asia goes from strength to strength. There is no other luxury
travel business market in Asia where we stand by our peers across the
world in offering the broadest range of high-end luxury travel
experiences. We are delighted to be taking part in ILTM Asia
2013.”
The
Asia Pacific is home to some of the largest populations of high-net
worth individuals and consequently, many international suppliers are
seeking invitations to take part in ILTM Asia 2013. The event
facilitates business success for international companies within the
region, as well as meeting the demands of the most discerning of
buyers from across the diverse Asia Pacific region.
The
number of approved travel specialists at last year’s ILTM event in
Asia increased by 20%. On securing a place among the elite at
the 2013 event, Alison Gilmore comments:
“We
are always interested in new buyers, planners and luxury travel
suppliers, although they must undergo a strict qualification process
if they wish to apply.”
