Regent Seven Seas Cruises® Raises the Curtain on Its Entertainment Programme

Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading ultra-luxury cruise line, has unveiled the entertainment programme for Seven Seas Prestige™, Regent’s first new ship class in a decade. Conceived as an integral part of the journey, the programme debuts with six original productions and Regent’s most expansive live music offering yet, including the line’s first onboard DJ, jazz duo and string duo. Two fresh concepts complete the programme: The Broadway Experience, arriving aboard Seven Seas Prestige on January 20, 2027, with recent and current Broadway and West End talent, and Luminaries at Sea, a fleetwide speaker series.

“With Seven Seas Prestige, every detail was designed around how our guests want to travel, and entertainment is no exception,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our guests are curious and well-travelled, and they expect evenings with real substance, delivered with the polish that defines Regent.”

Six Original Productions

At the heart of the ship’s evening entertainment are six new shows by the Prestige Production Company: Viva Vedette, Riviera Luxe, Rewind, Allegro, Golden Night and Tipples & Tales. Under the leadership of and executive production of Bryan White, Vice President, Entertainment Production, NCLH; and Kai Alan Carrier, Director, Entertainment Creative Development, NCLH, the productions are defined by meticulous attention to detail, beginning with wardrobe. Curated by Senior Manager of Theatrical Costuming, NCLH, Nicholas Bursoni, the costume collection for Seven Seas Prestige encompasses 781 costumes and bespoke accessories.

Viva Vedette: Honouring the legacy of the iconic showgirl, this sizzling revue revives the historic spectacles of the Copacabana and Folies Bergère, blending the glamour of the past with the energy of today through high theatricality, beauty, humour, and opulence. Directed by two-time Tony nominee Kevin Duda, and choreography by Emmy winner Karla Puno Garcia, who choreographed the 76th Annual Tony Awards.

Riviera Luxe: A captivating cinematic journey into the glamour and romance of the world’s Rivieras, this production fuses contemporary hits with retro classics through powerhouse vocals, dynamic dance, high-fashion style and spectacular visuals. Directed by Kevin Black, the creative force behind Seven Seas Grandeur’s Ignite the Night and ICONS, and choreographed by Dancing with the Stars professional Britt Stewart, it features more hats than any previous Regent production.

Rewind: A stylish spin through the soundtrack of the ‘80s, this high-energy concert celebrates the bold sounds, unforgettable stars and unmistakable style that defined a generation, reimagined with runway attitude and a modern edge. Choreography is by Emily Evenden, who trained at the Abby Lee Dance Company and appeared on television’s Dance Moms, with costumes designed by Tony-nominated designer Ryan Park.

Allegro: Reimagining opera and Broadway power ballads for a modern audience, this production transforms iconic arias with a contemporary pop sound. Dramatic staging, spectacular visuals and haute couture costumes created exclusively for Seven Seas Prestige complete the experience, with choreography by Emmy nominee James Alonzo White of Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple.

Golden Hour, and Golden Night: This glamorous two-part experience unfolds in the Starlight Atrium. Before dinner, Golden Hour pairs live music with artistic costumes, Champagne, hors d’oeuvres and photo opportunities. After dinner, Golden Night transforms the space into a lively dance party beneath the chandelier, complete with live music and vocalists. Celebrating love and connection, the experience is produced by Jeremy Fenn-Smith, whose collaborators include Tony winners Anika Noni Rose, J. Harrison Ghee and Melba Moore. Designed and crafted in-house by the Costume Production Department, the costumes add light, movement and spectacle to the experience.

Tipples & Tales: A Zacapa Rum Voyage: Inspired by the seafaring tradition of ending the day with a drink, a song and stories from the sea, this intimate gathering in the Meridian Lounge pairs a curated Zacapa rum tasting with maritime storytelling, spirited live music and theatrical performance by the entertainment cast, inviting guests to sing along, laugh and raise a glass together. Director T. Scott Ross wrote the characters, story, dialogue and musical arrangements.

Viva Vedette, Riviera Luxe, Rewind and Allegro will take the stage in the Constellation Theatre, the centrepiece of entertainment aboard Seven Seas Prestige. Thoughtfully designed to immerse guests in every performance, the venue brings the wonder of the night sky indoors as stars appear to illuminate the stage. Golden Hour and Golden Night will take place in the Starlight Atrium, while Tipples & Tales will be hosted in the intimate Meridian Lounge.

“These six original productions were created to bring a new level of artistry and variety to the Regent stage,” said Bryan White, Vice President, Entertainment Production, NCLH. “From the music and choreography to the bespoke costumes and intimate storytelling, every element has been carefully considered to deliver performances that feel distinctive, sophisticated and worthy of Seven Seas Prestige.”

Live Music Throughout Seven Seas Prestige

Regent’s most expansive live music programme to date will create a distinctive evening atmosphere across the Prestige Lounge, Meridian Lounge and Observation Lounge. For the first time, an onboard DJ, jazz duo and string duo will present curated sets tailored to each venue, joining fleet favourites such as the cocktail pianist and contemporary duo.

The Broadway Experience, Arriving January 2027

Launching across select ships in 2027, beginning with Seven Seas Prestige on January 20, 2027, The Broadway Experience brings recent and current Broadway and West End talent on board for intimate evenings of iconic musical theatre, pairing signature numbers with the stories behind beloved roles. Held in the Constellation Theatre, a live orchestra will accompany each performance. Among the stars announced are Kerry Ellis, the West End’s first British Elphaba in Wicked and a longtime collaborator of Queen’s Brian May; Tony Award nominee Charl Brown, acclaimed for his portrayal of Smokey Robinson in Motown: The Musical; and Keri René Fuller, who recently starred as Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.

Luminaries at Sea

Beyond the stage, Luminaries at Sea brings guests closer to distinguished thinkers, innovators, explorers and influential voices through intimate conversations designed to spark curiosity and offer new perspectives. Speakers for Seven Seas Prestige, who will appear in the Constellation Theatre, will be announced at a later date. However, across the fleet, featured guests range from Grammy Award winner Melissa Manchester, the first recording artist to perform two Academy Award-nominated movie themes in a single year at the 1980 Academy Awards, to bestselling author and forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, whose investigations inspired the Temperance Brennan novels and the hit television series Bones.

“We wanted entertainment on Seven Seas Prestige to feel like part of the voyage rather than something that happens after dinner,” said Daniel Bartrope, Director of Entertainment Operations & Enrichment, of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Whether it’s a Broadway star sharing the story behind a beloved role or a jazz duo setting the tone before the evening begins, every moment is designed to feel immersive and personal.”

The entertainment programme will debut aboard Seven Seas Prestige on her maiden voyage on December 28, 2026, departing from Miami, Florida.
