LONDON – ORA Hospitality, the design-driven hospitality arm of global real estate company ORA Developers, has announced a new ultra-luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand.
The brand’s flagship property is scheduled to open on Mykonos in May 2027. The brand name has not yet been announced. The concept will combine exploration and discovery with periods of tranquility, escape and renewal. Future properties will integrate art, architecture, music, wellness and local gastronomy into their guest experiences.
The brand will focus on personal service and experiences tailored to individual guests. It will also work with global names across wellness, food and beverage, and lifestyle to develop experiences connected with each destination.
100 million euros resort planned for Kalo Livadi
The debut resort will occupy an elevated hillside above Kalo Livadi Bay on Mykonos. The 100 million euros property will sit on a largely undeveloped section of coastline overlooking the Aegean Sea.The resort will comprise 93 keys, including 60 rooms, 28 suites and five villas. The accommodation will follow a village-style layout, with sea views and private outdoor spaces.
Facilities will include four restaurants and bars, event space for up to 200 guests, and a 900-square-metre wellness centre. The wellness centre will focus on skincare, recovery, movement and wellbeing.
Rockwell Group will design the resort, incorporating contemporary luxury and nature through indoor-outdoor spaces. The property will target travellers seeking Mykonos’ energy alongside a more relaxed and restorative environment. ORA Hospitality said the resort will focus on the quieter side of Mykonos and provide an environment for families and different generations.
Naguib Sawiris guides the project
Founder and entrepreneur Naguib Sawiris is personally overseeing the project’s design and concept. His connection with Mykonos dates back decades and includes annual visits with his family. His involvement includes elements such as custom playlists and artwork sourced from local artists.
“My connection to Mykonos is personal, rooted in decades of special memories, and I wanted to create a resort that leaves a positive mark on the island,” said.
“This will not be just another ultra-luxury hotel, but one of the most beautiful and elegant destinations in the Mediterranean, defined by its distinctive character and a seamless fusion of space, architecture, art, and service. Rather than choosing an international brand, I brought my own vision of hospitality to life – I wanted to create a brand that makes people feel true happiness. A place where every experience feels personal, where people come together and create memories that stay with them. Mykonos has something very rare: beautiful weather, an incredible sea, spectacular views, and a unique energy. It is a place where you can relax, have fun, celebrate, and feel completely free. There are very few destinations in the world that can offer all of this together.”
ORA Hospitality is developing a global pipeline while maintaining a selective approach to expansion. The company said it will focus on destinations where it can establish long-term businesses and create value for guests, partners and local communities. The Mykonos flagship will form the first property for the new brand and will combine hospitality, creative experiences, wellness and Mediterranean design.
Reservations are scheduled to open in January 2027, ahead of the resort’s planned May 2027 opening. ORA Hospitality is also behind Silversands, an ultra-luxury beachfront development in the Caribbean.
