Some voyages carry more than an itinerary, they carry a moment in history. In July of 2029, SeaDream III embarks on her inaugural voyage, twenty-seven nights from Hong Kong to Tokyo unlike any other we have sailed before. Ishigaki and Yakushima offer overnights, coral offshore and cedar a thousand years old wrapped in cloud, before Amami Oshima's mangrove tunnels lead toward Tokyo. Three full nights await there, set aside for the Christening, the ceremony that gives SeaDream III her name and marks the true beginning of her story. Busan closes the sailing with a final overnight, Gamcheon's hillside within reach, before she docks under the lights of Tokyo. From here, SeaDream III's next chapter begins, one that will carry her to horizons all over the world. |
