Emerging Travel Group and travel technology platform Traveloka have launched a strategic partnership to expand global accommodation distribution. Emerging Travel Group operates the RateHawk, ZenHotels and Roundtrip brands. Through this collaboration, both companies aim to broaden accommodation choice and strengthen their international reach.
Under the agreement, Traveloka will access Emerging Travel Group’s extensive hotel inventory. This portfolio offers broad geographic coverage across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and the United States. Moreover, the companies will integrate the inventory into Traveloka through the RateHawk API. As a result, customers will gain access to competitive rates and a wider selection of accommodation.
Erik Akhmetgaliev, Regional Director APAC at RateHawk, welcomed the partnership. “We’re delighted to support Traveloka’s outbound growth. ETG’s inventory, sourced from more than 350 wholesalers and 250,000 directly connected properties, is now available on Traveloka’s platform through the RateHawk API, giving its customers a much wider choice of accommodation in key destinations worldwide.”
He added: “Demand for ETG’s inventory across Asia keeps growing, and this partnership further strengthens our presence in the region. We will continue to build our network of API partners and expect to announce new collaborations soon.”
Tejveer Singh Bedi, Vice President of Commercial, Accommodation at Traveloka, highlighted the partnership’s wider benefits. “Our partnership with Emerging Travel Group significantly expands global accommodation choices for travelers while driving international demand to our Asia-Pacific hotel partners. By combining Traveloka’s leadership with ETG’s network, we are accelerating cross-border travel opportunities and delivering a seamless booking experience worldwide.”
Strengthening Accommodation Distribution Across Asia-Pacific
The partnership also gives Emerging Travel Group access to Traveloka’s extensive accommodation inventory across Southeast Asian markets. Consequently, both companies can expand the options available to their respective customers.
Nikita Elagin, Managing Director for Consolidator Business Unit at Emerging Travel Group, emphasised Traveloka’s regional strengths. “Traveloka has strong regional expertise and extensive accommodation coverage across APAC, particularly in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. These markets consistently rank among the top 30 most-booked destinations across ETG’s platforms, with demand continuing to grow and reflecting strong interest from both travel professionals and individual travelers.”
“By combining Traveloka’s inventory with our own, we can further expand the choice and competitive rates available to our customers. Our weighted approach to supply selection allows us to optimize how inventory is distributed across our network, taking into account factors such as availability, quality, pricing, and market demand. This enables us to provide the most relevant accommodation options to our customers while continuing to respond to growing demand across the region.”
Through the agreement, Emerging Travel Group and Traveloka aim to improve accommodation choice and support cross-border travel. Furthermore, the collaboration strengthens their distribution networks across established and growing travel markets.
