"AIDA Evolution is about far more than just modernizing our ships. We are consistently evolving the AIDA vacation experience, combining proven, popular concepts with our guests' wishes. For *AIDAperla* and *AIDAprima*, we are building on an already diverse range of offerings and introducing targeted new highlights: additional restaurants and bars, new favorite spots, and versatile activity areas for all generations. Expanding culinary variety
Guests can look forward to an expanded culinary selection. "Best Burger @ Sea" is coming to *AIDAperla* and *AIDAprima* for the first time, adding popular burger varieties to the onboard options. On Deck 7, the new "East Fusion" will create a diverse dining experience centered on Asian cuisine. First introduced on *AIDAdiva* in March 2025, the concept features Asian dishes and sushi variations. It is being expanded to include hotpot and—a brand-new feature—the option to enjoy Korean barbecue right at the table. Also new to this ship class is the "Teppanyaki Asia Grill," where the preparation of food right before the guests' eyes becomes a special experience.
The bar landscape is also evolving. The completely redesigned Art Bar is taking shape in the space previously occupied by the expansive photo gallery on Deck 7. Custom-designed seating and exceptional décor create a unique atmosphere that blends an art gallery with cocktails, long drinks, and—newly added—barista-style coffee prepared on portafilter machines. On Deck 8, the new Panorama Lounge & Bar invites guests to relax and linger; the menu features signature cocktails and an exclusive "Tea Time" experience, among other offerings. The Spray Bar at the ship's bow is getting a facelift, debuting a modern look and a large, interactive LED video wall. A new entrance via the D6 nightclub significantly expands the venue's versatility, allowing it to be flexibly integrated into events and offering new options for gatherings and group functions. The new Chilli Out Bar on Deck 8 rounds out the selection with the diverse flavors of Latin America, including Mexican tacos, spicy snacks, and fruity drinks.
An even cozier atmosphere and new favorite spots
The Theatrium is also receiving a makeover as part of the AIDA Evolution program. New lounge furniture and seating arrangements create a cozier, living-room-style atmosphere at the heart of the ship, offering extra space to relax and unwind. Following its modernization, the AIDA Plaza invites guests to stroll and linger, thanks to an expanded range of offerings and additional seating. Whether it’s *Currywurst*, tapas, or a scoop of ice cream, there is something to satisfy every craving.
Greater comfort in cabins and suites
Guests can look forward to enhancements designed for greater comfort in their cabins. These include USB ports by the beds and new bathroom mirrors with a nightlight function. The suites will feature a fresh color scheme, and the redesign and optimization of various areas allow for an expanded range of cabin options. For instance, new interior, ocean-view, and balcony cabins offer an even wider range of choices on board.
New experiences for all generations
As part of AIDA Evolution, the leisure and family areas on AIDAperla and AIDAprima are also undergoing numerous updates. One of the biggest changes awaits guests at the "Four Elements" activity deck. The upper level is being spanned by a new net structure, opening up the space for climbing, chilling, and exploring. The "Fun Park Air" replaces the previous climbing course and is open to guests of all ages. Another new feature for this class of ship is a mini-golf course on Deck 16—likely one of the highest at sea—where various obstacles will put guests' skills to the test.
The Kids Club is also receiving a comprehensive upgrade. For the first time on AIDAperla and AIDAprima, an outdoor area will complement the existing facilities, creating even more space for play and physical activity in the open air. Additionally, a mini play corner for the youngest guests is being created in the Beach Club. This feature first delighted the ship's youngest passengers on AIDAluna in December 2025 and is now being rolled out across all future Evolution-class ships. For teenagers, the Teens Lounge...
