The destination recorded year-on-year growth during every month of the first half of 2026. The latest figures build on tourism growth registered at the beginning of the year and reflect continued demand for accommodation and air services to the Caribbean archipelago.
Turks and Caicos tourism is also being supported by six new direct routes serving East Coast markets through BermudAir. In addition, United Airlines will introduce the first nonstop service between Denver and Providenciales.

Travel advisory and crime figures
The US Government’s travel advisory for the Turks and Caicos Islands remains at Level 2. The overall advisory level has remained unchanged since July 2023 and does not advise against travelling to the destination. The destination also reported a 42% year-on-year reduction in violent crime. The decrease was attributed to strengthened safety protocols and an increased police presence and visibility.

The Turks and Caicos Islands welcomed nearly two million visitors in 2025 before registering record stayover arrivals during the first half of 2026. The tourism authority linked the continued demand to the destination’s beaches, resorts, villas, culinary offer and island culture.
The destination added 177 hotel rooms during the first part of 2026. New openings included Hotel Indigo by IHG, located near Grace Bay Beach, Treasure Beach Village at Beaches® Turks & Caicos and 20 suites at Ellipse Grace Bay.
A further 184 rooms are scheduled to enter the market later in 2026 through the opening of The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay. The development will become the first property in the destination operating under a Hyatt brand.
New food and beverage venues introduced during the year include AMBRA at Beach Enclave, Anchorage at Blue Haven Marina, Il Forna at Hotel Indigo and Salina at Ellipse.
The hospitality pipeline includes the planned 2027 openings of The St. Regis Turks and Caicos, The Residences on Grace Bay Beach and Janu Turks & Caicos, the lifestyle-focused sister brand of Aman Resorts. The future arrival of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in the Turks and Caicos Islands is also expected to be announced.
BermudAir expands East Coast connectivity
BermudAir will expand connectivity between Providenciales and six airports across the eastern United States. The services will operate between October 2026 and May 2027. The schedule includes new or enhanced flights between Providenciales and Newark Liberty International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and St. Pete – Clearwater International Airport.
The routes from Raleigh-Durham and St. Pete – Clearwater will become the first nonstop services connecting the two airports with the Turks and Caicos Islands.
United Airlines adds Denver route
United Airlines will launch a nonstop service between Denver International Airport and Howard Hamilton International Airport in Providenciales in December 2026. The route will represent the westernmost direct air connection to the Islands. The new and expanded services will increase direct access from US markets while additional hotel capacity enters the destination. Turks and Caicos tourism authorities expect the combination of increased airlift, new hospitality developments and reduced violent crime to support visitor demand during the remainder of 2026 and beyond.
