Designed by Studio Gang, the 265-key hotel was completed in late 2024. Created by Urban Villages, the property blends nature-inspired design with environmentally conscious hospitality. Amenities include flexible meeting and event spaces; Stellar Jay, a rooftop restaurant and bar; a full-service, ground-floor restaurant; and Little Owl Coffee.
Featuring an iconic Aspen-tree-inspired design, Populus Denver is located on a corner site, with windows rising to 30 ft. to frame entrances and views into the lobby, restaurant, and amenity spaces. Interiors by Wildman Chalmers Design celebrate nature and pay homage to the Mountain West, while the property features an art collection curated by artist and environmentalist Katherine Homes.
The hotel operates on regenerative hospitality principles, including zero-waste systems and the One Night, One Tree program, which plants a tree for every night’s stay.
The boutique lifestyle hotel is close to Civic Center Park, the 16th Street Mall and the Museum and Performing Arts Districts, and is two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center.
