The awards are part of Tripadvisor’s annual Travelers’ Choice Awards program and are determined using the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings posted on the platform between January 1 and December 31, 2025.

The title of the world’s top hotel for 2026 was awarded to G.H. Universal Hotel in Bandung, Indonesia. The
five-star property features Renaissance-inspired architecture, 105 guestrooms,
spa facilities, a fitness centre, multiple dining options and dedicated pet
accommodation services.
The remainder of the global top ten ranking includes Hotel Colline de France in Brazil, Hotel Sporting Family Hospitality in Italy, Royal Lancaster London in the United
Kingdom, FivePine Lodge and Spa in the
United States, La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa in
Vietnam, Abigail’s Hotel in Canada, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba, Hotel Moments Budapest in Hungary and La Sinfonía del Rey Hotel & Spa in Vietnam.
In the United States category, FivePine Lodge and Spa in
Sisters, Oregon, secured the top position. The property is known for its
outdoor recreation offering, luxury suites, heated outdoor pool and guest
amenities including complimentary breakfast and evening wine receptions.
Other properties included in the top ten U.S. ranking were The Loutrel in Charleston, The Verb Hotel in Boston, The Bryant Park Hotel in New York City, French Quarter Inn in Charleston, The Inn at Christmas Place in Tennessee, Ironworks Hotel Indy in Indianapolis, Atticus Hotel in Oregon, Hotel
ZaZa Houston Memorial City and Faena
Miami Beach.
Tripadvisor also announced its ranking of the world’s leading one-of-a-kind hotels, with Crane Hotel Faralda Amsterdam taking first place. Located in a converted harbour crane overlooking the IJ River, the hotel offers three luxury suites and panoramic views of Amsterdam.
The top ten ranking in the category also includes Valley Views Glamping in New Zealand, Eagle Brae in Scotland, Taj
Lake Palace in India, Shinta Mani Wild in
Cambodia, Treehouse Lodge in Peru, La Tour D’eole in Morocco, Nayara Bocas Del Toro in Panama, Fingal Hotel in Edinburgh and Skylodge Adventure Suites in Peru.
The annual rankings highlight a range of accommodation types, from luxury
urban hotels and beach resorts to experiential lodges and distinctive
hospitality concepts, reflecting evolving traveler preferences across
international markets.
