Rostock, June 11, 2026 AIDA Cruises continues its successful concept of a multi-day event cruise that combines a cruise ship with a music festival. On the five-day voyage from/to Hamburg, heading towards Sweden and Denmark, guests can expect a diverse musical program with live acts from various genres, including hip-hop, EDM, pop, and German Schlager music. The cruise includes several festival days on board as well as two port calls with a corresponding festival atmosphere and is designed to appeal to a broad audience with diverse musical preferences.
The lineup for 2027 is not yet finalized. However, as in previous years, national and international artists will perform on various stages, including the Theatrium, the Beach Club, the Plaza, and the D6 nightclub. The format deliberately utilizes multiple, sometimes smaller, venues to foster a closer connection between artists and the audience.
The current FESTIVAL Cruise already demonstrated high demand: This year's voyage departed fully booked from Hamburg on June 8, 2026, and will conclude in the Hanseatic city on June 12, 2026. Artists such as SDP, Clueso, ClockClock, and Bausa will perform on board, shaping the program with a broad musical spectrum. With the FESTIVAL Cruise, AIDA Cruises has established a unique event format within its themed and event cruise segment in recent years.
In addition to this special cruise, guests can look forward to other exciting voyages this year: During the sporting highlight of the year, all AIDA ships will be transformed into black, red, and gold fan zones, featuring public viewings, fan talks, prediction games, seated football, and many other fan-related activities. In addition, on select cruises, real football experts will thrill passengers with their analyses of the Group E preliminary round matches in the special edition "Doppelpass on Cruise" and on board AIDAmar during the "AIDA Fan Cruise – Home Game at Sea" from July 3 to 8, 2026.
From September 12 to 19, 2026, AIDAnova will transform into a floating party tent with the "O'zapft is!" Cruise. Stars like Die Prinzen, Frenzy, Melissa Naschenweng, and voXXclub will provide a fantastic time on the water. Also new to the program is the AIDA Special Schlager @ AIDA. At the beginning of November, AIDAperla will be a paradise for Schlager fans: 14 popular artists, including audience favorites like Howard Carpendale and Maite Kelly, will bring catchy beats, powerful emotions, and true cult hits. From October 31 to November 5, 2026, AIDAperla will be the place to be for a party atmosphere.
The Feelgood Cruise around the Canary Islands combines fitness, mindset, and conscious relaxation. With personalities like Fabian Hambüchen and Dr. Christine Theiss, the focus is on exercise, inspiration, and personal development. This AIDA Special takes place from November 8th to 15th, 2026, aboard AIDAblu. The voyage departs from and returns to Gran Canaria, sailing through the Canary Islands with their mild Atlantic climate and ideal conditions for exercise, relaxation, and new inspiration for body and mind.
