Registration opens for FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show

MIRAMAR, FL – Registration is now open for the FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show, the official cruise industry conference for the Caribbean and Latin America organised by the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA). The event will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 12 to 16 October.

The conference is the FCCA’s flagship event and the only open-registration gathering in the region that enables attendees to connect directly with approximately 100 senior cruise industry executives through a programme of workshops, networking events, one-to-one meetings and business sessions.

Micky Arison, Chairman of Carnival Corporation & plc and the FCCA, said: “This is the only event in the region that puts any attendee in direct contact with cruise executives that can drive business.”

Preparations for the event are underway, with a number of cruise industry decision-makers already confirmed to participate. Organisers encourage early registration to secure opportunities such as one-to-one meetings with executives and discounted registration rates.

Michele Paige, CEO of the FCCA, said: “We are proud of this event’s continued success for attendees and so many throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. The FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show has been the birthplace of everything from new tours to entire destination developments, so we are excited about what this year can bring for all.”

A central feature of the conference will again be the programme of individual meetings between delegates and cruise executives. During the 15-minute sessions, participants will have the opportunity to present products and services directly to executives responsible for itinerary planning, onboard revenue, destination development and infrastructure investment.

Delegates registering by 31 August will be eligible to schedule one-to-one meetings. The organisers aim to exceed last year’s record of 1,030 meeting slots, following five consecutive years of growth since the introduction of the revised meeting-focused format.

An early-bird registration discount will also be available until 31 August. Pre-registration will remain open until 11 October, while onsite registration will be offered at a higher rate due to additional operational costs.

The registration announcement was made during the FCCA PAMAC Destination Summit, held in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, from 23 to 26 June. The summit brings together FCCA Platinum Members and senior cruise industry executives through meetings, workshops and networking activities focused on industry trends, destination development and collaboration, while highlighting the Dominican Republic’s role as a strategic FCCA partner.
