The phased expansion began on 5 June 2026, with services increasing from
two to three daily flights. A fourth daily flight is scheduled to be introduced
from 15 June, while a fifth daily service will return during the summer season.
The airline will operate the route using Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.
The increase in capacity will provide passengers with additional travel options between Doha and Dubai and will result in up to 35 weekly flights on the route.
The expansion forms part of Qatar Airways’ efforts to strengthen regional
connectivity and support both business and leisure travel between Qatar and the
UAE.
Qatar Airways has been progressively restoring its network across the Middle East and currently serves more than 20 destinations in the region. The airline resumed flights to Dubai and Sharjah in April and restarted services to Abu Dhabi in May.
The carrier is also continuing the phased restoration and expansion of its
wider international network, with plans to serve more than 160 destinations by
the summer season.
Qatar Airways stated that passengers should regularly check the airline’s
official communication channels for schedule updates and ensure that their
contact details remain current. Flight schedules remain subject to operational,
regulatory, safety and other circumstances that may affect services.
