LOT Polish Airlines has started selling tickets for the Warsaw-Tromsø route. The flights will operate during the 2026/2027 winter season, starting on 1 December this year. LOT flights to the far north will take off twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of ticket sales for a new route in its winter schedule for the 2026/2027 season. This time, passengers will enjoy cruises to Tromsø, also known as the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’.
The first flight on the WAW-TOS route will take off on 1 December 2026. The national carrier’s aircraft will depart from Warsaw Airport heading north twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 11.35 am. Passengers will set off on the return journey on the same days, but at 3.45 pm. Flights on this route will operate until 13 February 2027. The flights will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, and the journey time is estimated at just over 3 hours.

Tromsø itself is, above all, a Scandinavian atmosphere set against a backdrop of majestic peaks. This is not the city’s only attraction, though! Another example is the Arctic Cathedral, which was modelled on the traditional tents of the Sámi people mentioned earlier.
