ATLANTA – Peachtree Group announced the grand opening of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Palmdale in California. The 220-room property, located at 39330 Trade Center Drive, was developed by the company and will be operated by its hospitality management division.
Vickie Callahan, president of hospitality management at Peachtree Group, said: “The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Palmdale is well positioned to serve the growing aerospace, defense and extended-stay demand throughout the Antelope Valley market. This opening represents the culmination of a long development journey that required tremendous persistence, collaboration and commitment across many teams. We are grateful to our development, pre-opening, revenue generation and operations teams for successfully bringing this project across the finish line.”
Located in California’s Antelope Valley, the all-suite hotel benefits from its proximity to major aerospace and defence facilities, including U.S. Air Force Plant 42, Edwards Air Force Base and Lockheed Martin operations. The property is also situated near local attractions such as DryTown Water Park.
The hotel offers extended-stay accommodation with fully equipped kitchens, complimentary Wi-Fi and ergonomic workspaces. Amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, a 24-hour fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, pet-friendly suites, free parking and Marriott Bonvoy digital check-in.
The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Palmdale was among Peachtree Group’s early EB-5 developments and previously received I-956F approval from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, supporting the project as a job-creating investment.
Greg Friedman, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree Group, said: “Palmdale shows what becomes possible when development expertise, hospitality operations and flexible capital solutions such as EB-5 investments come together. The project demonstrates how we can align those capabilities around investments designed to create value while supporting job creation and local economic activity.”
The EB-5 visa programme enables foreign investors to apply for permanent residency in the United States through investments in qualifying commercial enterprises that create or preserve jobs. Under the programme, investors who commit a minimum of $800,000 to a qualifying project that generates at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers may be eligible to apply for a green card.
Adam Greene, Executive Vice President of EB-5 at Peachtree Group, said: “Palmdale was one of the early projects that helped establish our EB-5 platform and demonstrates how the strategy has evolved. The successful opening reinforces the role EB-5 can play in supporting hospitality development, creating jobs and expanding investment opportunities across growing markets.”
The project highlights Peachtree Group’s strategy of combining alternative capital solutions with hospitality development expertise to support hotel projects across the United States.
Peachtree Group’s hospitality management division currently operates 111 hotels across 30 brands in the upper-midscale and upscale segments, including limited-service, select-service and compact full-service properties nationwide.
