The airport, a 13-time previous winner of the title, also received multiple awards, including World’s Best Airport Dining, World’s Best Airport in the 60–70 million passenger category, World’s Best Airport Immigration Service and Best Airport in Asia. The awards were accepted by Yam Kum Weng, CEO of Changi Airport Group.

The ceremony also included SKYTRAX Airport Star Rating recognitions. Rome Ciampino Airport was awarded the 4-Star Regional Airport Rating, while Punta Cana International Airport received a 4-Star Airport Rating. Fukuoka International Airport was granted a 5-Star Regional Airport Rating, and both Haikou Meilan International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport received 5-Star Airport Ratings.
Seoul Incheon Airport ranked second globally and was named the World’s Most Family Friendly Airport. Tokyo Haneda Airport ranked third and received awards as the World’s Cleanest Airport (Major Airport), World’s Best Domestic Airport and for Best Airport PRM & Accessible Facilities.
Hong Kong International Airport ranked fourth globally, receiving awards for World’s Best Airport Washrooms and World’s Best Airport Security Processing. London Heathrow Airport was recognised for World’s Best Airport Shopping.
Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya retained its title as World’s Best Regional Airport and Best Regional Airport in Asia. Aso Kumamoto Airport received the award for World’s Best New Airport Terminal.
King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was named the World’s Most Improved Airport, reflecting performance gains following the opening of its upgraded Terminal 2.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport was named Best Airport in Europe for the fourth consecutive year, while Paris Orly Airport received the award as Best Regional Airport in Europe.
New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido was awarded World’s Cleanest Airport for facilities handling up to 30 million passengers. Kansai International Airport Terminal 2 received the award for World’s Best Low-Cost Terminal.
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport was recognised for World’s Best Airport Baggage Delivery, while Houston Airport System received the World’s Best Airport Art award for the fourth consecutive year.
Regional awards included Rome Fiumicino Airport as Best Airport in Southern Europe, Helsinki Vantaa Airport as Best Airport in Northern Europe and Budapest Airport as Best Airport in Eastern Europe. Munich Airport was awarded Best Airport Staff in Europe and Best Airport in Central Europe.
Cape Town Airport received awards as Best Airport in Africa and Best Airport Staff Service in Africa. Delhi International Airport was named Best Airport in India & South Asia, with Hyderabad Airport recognised for Best Airport Staff Service in the region and Bangalore Airport for Best Regional Airport.
In the airport hotel categories, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport was named World’s Best Airport Hotel and Best Airport Hotel in Asia. Grand Hyatt at SFO received Best Airport Hotel in North America, Hilton Munich Airport was awarded Best Airport Hotel in Europe, Pullman Brisbane Airport in Australia & Pacific, Taj Bangalore in India & South Asia, Hyatt Regency Shenzhen in China, Le Méridien Cairo Airport in Africa and Movenpick Bahrain in the Middle East.
