Spanish travel firm Destinia has announced the acquisition of UK travel brands Travel Republic and Netflights.
The deal is a key part of its plans to expand in the UK market, it says.
Destinia says it will continue operating them as standalone brands and support them through its tech platform.
Both companies are well established in the UK.
“Travel Republic and Netflights have built long-term relationships with their customers,” said Ricardo Fernández, CEO of the Destinia Group.
“Our focus is on keeping the service and booking experience people trust, while supporting the brands with our systems and scale.”
Destinia will focus on continuity for its UK customers and also expand the scope of holidays and flights.
It will expand options to primary destinations in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
It will be supported by directly contracted partnerships in these key markets.
