Crestline Hotels & Resorts has recently appointed Orcun Turkay as its new Vice President of Food & Beverage, a strategic move to enhance its diverse portfolio of hospitality offerings. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Turkay’s appointment is expected to drive innovation and elevate guest experiences across the company’s various properties. His extensive background in food and beverage operations positions him as a key player in Crestline’s ongoing commitment to excellence in dining and entertainment.

Turkay’s Impressive Background and Expertise

Orcun Turkay comes to Crestline Hotels & Resorts with a wealth of experience, particularly in leading food and beverage operations across various high-end hospitality brands. Most recently, he served as the general manager at  The Delphi Downtown LA, a property managed by Crestline. At  The Delphi, Turkay played a pivotal role in the development and design of key dining concepts, including Denae’s Diner and Üca Terraza, a rooftop bar with a Tulum-inspired ambiance. These projects were instrumental in transforming the property’s guest experience, showcasing Turkay’s ability to blend creativity with operational efficiency.

Before his role at The Delphi, Turkay held the position of Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for Shaner Hotel Group. In this role, he managed food and beverage operations for more than 55 hotels, including luxury resorts and lifestyle destinations. Turkay’s focus on culinary excellence and guest satisfaction helped set new benchmarks for hospitality, cementing his reputation as a leader in the industry. His efforts significantly impacted guest experiences and operational practices across a wide range of property types, from full-service hotels to luxury resorts.

Prior Experience and Notable Achievements

Orcun Turkay’s career spans several key leadership roles in hospitality, where he has consistently delivered innovative concepts and elevated guest experiences. Prior to his work at Shaner Hotel Group, Turkay served as the Managing Partner and Vice President of Operations at The Park RVA in Richmond, Virginia. There, he transformed a 55,000-square-foot building into a dynamic entertainment venue that featured eclectic dining concepts, mini golf, duck-pin bowling and a beer garden. His work at The Park RVA demonstrated his ability to turn underutilized spaces into vibrant destinations that attract diverse clientele.

Earlier in his career, Turkay held significant roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts across the U.S. and Europe, managing food and beverage operations for luxury brands such as St. Regis, W Hotels and Westin. His leadership in these roles earned him numerous accolades, including Marriott International’s General Manager of the Year for AC Hotels and recognition from Architectural Digest and Nightclub & Bar for design innovation and Restaurant/Bar of the Year in the U.S.
