In close cooperation with its host partner Visit Algarve, Europe Congress aimed to showcase the region’s growing reputation as a destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE). Long known as one of Portugal’s most popular leisure destinations, the Algarve is increasingly positioning itself as a year-round hub for business events, thanks to its variety of venues, pleasant climate, and acclaimed local cuisine.
André Gomes, President of the Algarve Tourism Bureau, commented: “The Algarve Tourism Bureau is proud to support the organization of MCE South Europe 2025 and to highlight the Algarve’s year-round appeal as a premier destination for business and scientific events.”
Hosted at the five-star Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort & Hotel Spa, and supported by local AV partner Eventeam, the event offered delegates a unique beachfront setting, exceptional hospitality, and an ideal environment to strengthen business relationships.
Beyond the meeting sessions, participants took part in an exclusive FAM trip and a series of experiential activities showcasing the region’s attractions. Highlights included a boat tour of the Algarve coastline and Benagil caves by AlgarExperience, a wine tasting at Quinta do Canhoto, a golf clinic, a traditional cataplana cooking class at Pine Cliffs Resort, and a visit to the Designer Outlet Algarve.
Following the success of this edition, Europe Congress announced a full calendar of six events for 2026, with registrations already open for the upcoming forums in Sofia (Bulgaria), Budapest (Hungary), Copenhagen (Denmark), Düsseldorf (Germany), Prague (Czechia), and Valencia (Spain).
