Data-Driven Growth in Luxury Hospitality: Insights from Cvent’s Riccardo Galanti

At the upcominInternational Luxury Hotel Association’s Conference in Prague this November, Riccardo Galanti, Senior Director of Sales at Cvent, will share valuable perspectives on how data and technology are reshaping luxury hospitality for the year ahead.

Speaking with ILHA, Galanti highlighted that demand for luxury meetings, incentives, and events (MICE) is accelerating across the globe. According to Cvent data, unique luxury RFPs are increasing by 5% in North America, 10% in Europe and APAC, and up to 26% in South America. Beyond volume, the size of RFPs is also growing at double-digit rates worldwide, reinforcing luxury as a rapidly expanding and high-value segment.

Galanti emphasized that digitalization is the key to personalization at scale. Nearly half of planners globally consider interactive floor plans essential when sourcing venues. For luxury hotels, investing in digital tools enables tailored, immersive experiences while maintaining the high-touch service expected by discerning clients.

Cvent, he explained, serves as a bridge between planners and hoteliers by automating processes, streamlining negotiations, and delivering insights throughout the entire event lifecycle. This not only enhances efficiency but also strengthens long-term client relationships in the luxury space.

Looking ahead to 2025, Galanti advises hoteliers to fully embrace digital marketing and rapid responsiveness. Cvent data reveals that nearly 70% of global awarded business goes to the first three venues to submit a proposal. Technology plays a pivotal role here—helping hotels respond quickly while maintaining personalization.

“Luxury is becoming one of the fastest-growing channels,” Galanti said, “and hoteliers who prioritize digital transformation will be best positioned to capture visibility and bookings in the years ahead.”
