Castle Resorts & Hotels has been awarded the management contract for the Waikiki Circle Hotel in Hawaii. Effective Nov. 1, the 104-room hotel will be the 18th property in the company’s portfolio.
The change marks the first management transition for the hotel in more than three decades. First opened in 1963, the property features a unique circular silhouette and the Eggs ‘n Things restaurant. It is located across from Waikiki Beach and close to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and Kapi‘olani Park.
“As Hawaii’s largest locally owned and operated hotel management company, Castle was selected because of our deep roots, local expertise, hands-on management style and commitment to keeping operations here at home, from on-island leadership to our locally based call center,” said Matt Bailey, president/CEO, Castle Resorts & Hotels. “We’re proud to welcome Waikiki Circle Hotel into our ‘ohana. All current hotel employees will be invited to continue in their roles, ensuring the same warmth and aloha spirit that guests have come to expect.”
Founded in 1993, Castle Resorts & Hotels manages a portfolio of properties on Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Kauai, Hawaii Island in Hawaii and in Takapuna, NZ. Nearly all are located on or near a beach.
