Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport marks an important milestone today in the development of its route network with the launch of direct flights to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), operated by Pegasus Airlines.
The new direct Cluj-Napoca – Istanbul route operated by Pegasus Airlines strengthens the air connection between Cluj-Napoca and one of the most dynamic intercontinental transit hubs.
Pegasus Airlines, one of Turkey's leading private airlines, operates a modern fleet consisting of Airbus A320, A321, and Boeing 737 aircraft, offering reliable and affordable services to numerous destinations around the world.
The airline will operate this route with a frequency of three flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, offering passengers enhanced travel options not only to the vibrant city of Istanbul but also to over 146 international destinations across 54 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East through the extensive Pegasus Airlines network.
Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, located on the Asian side of Istanbul, offers quick access to the city center and is one of the most important regional hubs, serving over 30 million passengers annually.
