That's why we seek out your voices to inform much of our GBTA research. Today we released the results of our latest Global Business Travel Industry Poll – thank you to all who responded. We unveiled the industry's current sentiment around key areas such as spending and volume outlook, priorities and strategies for 2025, as well as matters of partnering, people and planet. (Check out more GBTA Research here.)
These insights will help to inform our upcoming advocacy conversations. GBTA and our European Advisory Board meet up in Brussels mid-March to continue showcasing our important industry with European policymakers there. GBTA will speaking at a European Parliament’s roundtable on the future of travel, and holding a series of meetings with EU officials, including with the office of the newly appointed EU Tourism Commissioner. Turning to Washington, DC, our annual GBTA US Legislative Summit is set for June 10-12, where with GBTA members from chapters all over the United States, we will advocate with U.S. policymakers about the critical and positive role of business travel in fueling business, economies and workforces. (Registration for the June event is now open – please join us!) And do consider adding a day in front of that to attend our DC-based Sustainability Summit as well, where pragmatic approaches, industry standards, best practices and actionable initiatives will characterize what's next for a sustainable future for business travel.
From the "voices" on our main stage, in ed sessions, throughout our Expos and more, GBTA in-person events are unmatched for industry community, connection and learning. Our upcoming regional events include the GBTA Canada Conference in April followed by our APAC Conference in May. And we're getting ready for Denver – are you? The best registration rates are available now for GBTA Convention 2025 in the Mile High City. Join your fellow professionals – to learn and be heard.
Whether anticipated, newly created, or unexpected, change will be inevitable on the road ahead. And it will be through our collective voices and efforts that our industry will continue to remain – and be known as – a force for good, with a purpose-led and resilient path ahead.
