MADRID – FITUR Screen is holding its seventh edition at the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair from 22 to 26 January to consolidate its positioning as a key space for promoting screen tourism. Organised by IFEMA MADRID together with Spain Film Commission, this section will be highlighting the potential of the audiovisual sector as a tool for promoting tourism with the presence of leaders and experts from both industries.
FITUR Screen will have broader international participation at the 45th edition of the fair, opening up new opportunities for destinations from across the globe to share their resources and collaborate in the development of screen tourism. At a national level, the section will reinforce the cultural and natural wealth of Spain as a filming destination.
In addition, in recognition of the most relevant contributions to the international promotion of Spain as a film location and the visibility of the audiovisual industry at a global level, the section will once again be presenting its ‘Ambassador of the Year’ and ‘Best Production’ awards.
