Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro has a Posto TAP this year. TAP Air Portugal is bringing new colours to Rio's summer until 21 January 2025, in partnership with RIO galeão airport.
With the motto ‘Quench your thirst for travelling with TAP’, the space offers a unique experience for locals and tourists. The Posto TAP is located between postos 8 and 9 (the numbered lifeguard stations), one of the most popular spots on the seafront, and is here to become part of the contagious energy of Ipanema, bringing a little bit of Portugal to the marvellous city.
Until 21 January, Posto TAP will feature a variety of activities, including the distribution of award-winning popsicles, in pastel de nata or wine flavours, and sporting activities on the Beach Tennis, Futevolei and Beach Volleyball courts.
Posto TAP promises to be the perfect meeting point to enjoy the beaches of Ipanema with lots of fun and a hint of Portuguese culture straight to the famous Brazilian beaches.
