Brian Beall (He/Him) is the Director of the National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO) in the International Trade Administration’s Industry & Analysis unit at the U.S. Department of Commerce.  In this position, he leads a team working to enhance the international competitiveness of the U.S. travel and tourism industry and maintain America’s status as a top destination for international visitors.  He previously served as NTTO’s Deputy Director for Policy from 2014-2019.

Brian has many years of private and public sector experience in travel, tourism, and policy.  From 2020-2023, he was Vice President of Government Affairs at Cruise Lines International Association where he led strategic programs to achieve positive public policy outcomes in North America and globally to support the growth of the cruise industry. In addition to his previous time in NTTO, Brian held several other positions in the International Trade Administration, including Senior Advisor to the Deputy Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service and Senior International Trade Specialist in the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary. He also worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Fellow in the U.S. Senate focused specifically on travel and tourism policy issues, and as an analyst at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Truman State University and his Master of Tourism Administration with a concentration in tourism policy development from The George Washington University.

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce (ESC) Nice Sophia Antipolis, Anne-Sophie (She/Her) joined Accenture in 1999 to lead CRM projects and change management. In 2007, she became actively involved in promoting diversity when she took the helm of the Women at Accenture program in France. Four years later, she extended her responsibilities to become Inclusion & Diversity Manager for France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2016, Anne-Sophie joined Accor as VP Diversity & Inclusion. She was later appointed the Group’s SVP Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) & Social Care late 2021. More recently, Anne-Sophie was promoted to SVP Social Care & Impact adding to her DEI scope Human Rights, Solidarity & Engagement. In her current appointment, Anne-Sophie also oversees Accor Heartist Solidarity, the Group’s endowment fund created to help and empower populations living in precarious conditions to escape poverty and social exclusion. Anne-Sophie is also a member of the AFMD, a French non-profit organization founded by managers keen to efficiently manage diversity in their workforce, and the Co-president of the Accor Fondation.

 

As Co-Founder and CEO of Transformation Journeys Worldwide, an inclusion training and consulting firm with a transgender focus, Gabrielle Claiborne (She/Her) helps cutting-edge organizations position themselves to attract and retain the best talent, foster collaborative working environments, and drive innovation by creating fully trans-inclusive cultures. Some of her clients include Home Depot, Sun Life Financial, Bank of America, Royal Bank of Canada, Comcast, Mercedes Benz, UPS, Kaiser Permanente, Cox Media, WarnerMedia, and New York City Pride.

Gabrielle has been an out and active transwoman since 2010. She served on the Executive Board of Atlanta Pride for the past 5 years and currently serves as Co-Chair of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s TGNC Inclusion Task Force, as Co-Chair of the Trans Affairs Committee on the City of Atlanta’s LGBTQ Mayoral Advisory Council, as Inclusion Chair and Secretary on the Board of the Out Georgia Business Alliance, as Chair of the OUT Georgia Business Alliance’s TGNC360 Workplace Initiative, and as Advisory Board Member of Out Front Theater Group. In 2020, she published her memoir meets self-help book Embrace Your Truth: A Journey of Authenticity. Transformation Journeys Worldwide was honored to be chosen as the Out Georgia Business Alliance 2018 Small Business of the Year and is proud to be an NGLCC certified LGBT Business Enterprise.

 

 

 

Giuseppe Giulio (He/Him) People call Giuseppe Giulio a marketing unicorn, as he helps companies to develop an LGBTQ+ audience, and reach them on the Internet using ads, brand content, digital PR, and special projects. He’s currently working as an executive for European media outlet Gay.it and JN Global Project, an LGBTQ+ agency in Spain. His portfolio includes: Uber Eats, Douglas, Spain, Delta Air Lines, Disney+, Greece, VANS, Discovery+, Malta, Copenhagen 2021, Vacaya and more. Giuseppe regularly speaks and moderates at marketing and travel global conferences, including GNetwork360, ITB Berlin, and Work Pride by Mygwork. He graduated from Italy's 24 Ore Business School, and speaks Italian, English, Spanish and basic German. 

 

 

Danny Guerrero (He/Him), a passionate travel marketing executive and thought leader, is a trailblazer and force for good in the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries. Danny’s efforts have activated crucial conversations and actions with travel brands to better reflect underrepresented audience needs and shifts in culture within brand marketing and communications rooted in multicultural consumer research. Danny launched The Culturist Group, the leading multicultural and inclusive brand marketing, and communications agency in travel to help empower travel brands and destinations to better connect with and welcome multicultural consumers, including intersectional LGBTQ+, Black, Hispanic, and other consumers of color.  The Culturist Group has delivered award-winning brand marketing and communications campaigns for travel brands and destinations seeking to earn the trust of multicultural and diverse audiences including Brand USA, Events Industry Council, Sydney,  Australia, Jalisco and Los Cabos, Mexico, and others. Danny received the David Martin Small Business Fellowship from IGLTA in 2022 and is a 2024 Executive MBA graduate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a certificate in entrepreneurship. He lives in Los Angeles with his husband Jaime.

 

Peter Jordan (He/Him), Founder, Gen C Traveller (research supervisor and author) is recognized as one of the world’s leading specialists in LGBTQ+ Travel, Youth Travel and Destination Development. Peter Jordan is a consultant and researcher based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Over the course of more than a decade, he has also become respected as one of the world’s leading specialists on LGBTQ+ travel. During this time, Peter has authored pioneering reports on diverse aspects of tourism and LGBTQ+ inclusion and diversity for UN Tourism, European Travel Commission and IGLTA.

In addition to his work on LGBTQ+ Travel, Peter is a strategist and researcher in place making and marketing. He has supported cities and regions in planning their tourism more sustainably and guided them in achieving greater community impact. In September 2022 Peter was awarded the IGLTA Hanns Ebensten Hall of Fame Award for his service and dedication to advancing LGBTQ+ travel research and thought leadership.

 

 

 

Lisa Lam (She/Her) is a legal and compliance counsel with over 20 years of experience in the digital finance sector. She is the founder and managing consultant of her own legal consulting company, where she provides bespoke legal and regulatory compliance solutions to digital finance businesses, with a focus on Web3 and payments. Lisa’s is also a passionate volunteer and leader in the LGBTQ+ community, serving as the head of external affairs at Alongside Limited, an end-of-life planning and bereavement support services NGO since March 2024. Before that, Lisa was the co-chair and general counsel of Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2023 - the first Gay Games in Asia - until the successful closure of the event in November 2023.

A Strategic Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Consultant, Zoe Moore (She/Her) is challenging the status quo across the hospitality, events and tourism industries. She is using her platforms to educate leaders about supplier diversity, inclusive organizational culture and diverse representation in leadership. Zoe Moore resides in Smyrna, GA with her 19-year-old son, Jourden Moore of JEM Innovations. She loves homemade chocolate chip cookies, photography and traveling.

 

 

 

 

 

Rosy Riva (she/her) considers herself a citizen of the world. Born in Brazil to a Tuscan family and raised in Belgium, she has a background as a professional translator and over 15 years experience in the luxury fashion industry, including Gucci with Tom Ford. This was followed by a decade of experience as Chief of Staff and Master of Ceremony for a Tuscan Mayor. Rosy has now stepped into entrepreneurship, becoming a destination wedding planner, certified by the Gay Wedding Institute (USA). Rosy is also a Symbolic Wedding Celebrant and Founder of Let’s Wed! in Italy. In her recent past, Rosy taught Fashion Retail, Luxury Business, Contemporary Etiquette and International Protocol @ Ent-Art Polimoda, a prestigious international fashion institute in Florence. As a wedding planner, Rosy is committed to providing inspiration and support to LGBTQ+ couples who seek to affirm abroad their life-long engagement to each other. She takes pride in designing authentic, tailor-made weddings that speak to the uniqueness of their love!

 

 

Hiroki Tanimura (He/Him) is the Manager of the SMB and Startups team at Google Cloud Japan. Hiroki and his team leverage Google Cloud's innovative solutions to empower businesses of all sizes to accelerate their digital transformation.

With over six years of experience at Google Cloud, Hiroki has played a pivotal role in building and scaling the SMB and Startups business. His expertise spans direct sales, program development, strategic initiatives and people management. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Hiroki honed his technical skills at a Japanese ERP software vendor.

Hiroki is deeply committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable workplace. As a co-lead of Pride at Google Japan since 2021, he actively promotes diversity and inclusion within and outside of the organization.

Hiroki is based in Tokyo. He enjoys spending his leisure time with his partner and their two Italian Greyhounds.

 

 

Dr. Bella Vongvisitsin (She/Her), a Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Metropolitan University and co-founder of Inclusive Tourism Asia, is a seasoned scholar in tourism management with a focus on community-based tourism, diversity and inclusion, and tech start-up entrepreneurship. She has led impactful tourism development projects in Thailand, Hong Kong, ASEAN, and Asia-Pacific. Advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, she is a former President of ILGA Asia Foundation, an award-winning civil society organization. Bella’s expertise spans community development, inclusive tourism, and service design. She was also a recipient of the 2018 IGLTA-PATA Building Bridges Fellowship, attending the IGLTA Global Convention in Toronto. Her experience with IGLTA has inspired her to create Inclusive Tourism Asia as a consortium of LGBTQ+ scholars in Asia, working on meaningful projects delving into the Asian nuances of LGBTQ+ tourism.

 

Nubia (She/Her), the CEO and founder of Black In Travel, embarked on her journey in the travel industry over 15 years ago. She has since become a prominent figure, creating a safe and inclusive space for melanated travelers. Beyond her work with Black In Travel, Nubia's personal life reflects her love for adventure and exploring new cultures. Having traveled to over 50 countries across four continents, she immerses herself in diverse cultures and embraces thrilling experiences like skydiving and swimming with whale sharks.

 

Nubia's mission is to inspire and empower Gen X professionals to harness the power of manifestation. She is passionate about bringing people together and particularly encourages women of color to fearlessly explore the world. Understanding the unique challenges faced by women of color over 40 in the travel industry, Nubia is dedicated to empowering and inspiring them to travel, regardless of their age or background. Her expertise and unwavering commitment make her a leading voice in the travel community.
