AEGEAN introduces three weekly direct flights between Larnaca and Rome for a premium travel experience

 AEGEAN, Greece’s leading airline, is dedicated to enhancing Cyprus’s connectivity and meeting the growing demand for direct European routes. In line with this commitment, AEGEAN has announced the launch of a new direct flight between Cyprus and Rome.

Starting in April 2025, this new route will connect Larnaca International Airport “Glafkos Clerides” with “Leonardo da Vinci” International Airport (Fiumicino) in Rome. The service will offer three weekly direct flights—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—throughout the summer season. AEGEAN is also considering extending these operations into the winter months. Tickets for the flights are already available on AEGEAN’s website, as well as through booking systems and travel agencies.

In June, AEGEAN further enhanced the travel experience by unveiling its new Business Lounge at Larnaca Airport. Spanning 345 square meters and located near the departure gates, the lounge offers panoramic views of the apron and abundant natural light.

As AEGEAN celebrates 25 years of operations this year, it remains focused on boosting Cyprus’s connectivity. For 2025, the airline plans to offer 1.25 million seats to and from Cyprus, representing a 9% increase from the previous year. AEGEAN has transported over 12 million passengers through both scheduled and charter flights, as well as connections via Athens and Thessaloniki, where it operates up to seven daily flights to Athens and up to two daily flights to Thessaloniki, year-round.
