Etihad restarting Nairobi flights

Etihad Airways will later this year resume scheduled Nairobi flights.

Starting 15 December 2024, the route returns to the Etihad route network.

The airline restarts the route with four flights a week from Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Lena Havia, Etihad’s VP of Network and Scheduling, said: “We are pleased to resume flights between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi this winter.”

“We are grateful to the Kenyan and UAE authorities for the authorisation to resume flights and thank our passengers eager to use this popular route for their patience.”

Flights are now open for sales.

The airline curtailed Nairobi flights during the pandemic.

Etihad just announced its H1 2024 results, with a 48% increase in profit after tax to AED851 million (£183 million).
