Embracing this year’s tribute to Krug Single Ingredient: flower, Chef Ryan Cruz of Hotel Wailea has crafted several new menu items inspired by the beauty and variety of native Hawaiian florals. These creations include an ahi crudo infused with hibiscus and an oyster dish adorned with edible flowers, each designed to pair perfectly with Krug Grande Cuvée or Krug Rosé. Showcasing his artistry and the unique flavors of Maui, Chef Cruz’s dishes highlight the seamless blend of local ingredients and fine champagne. In October, Hotel Wailea will host an exclusive culinary collaboration dinner and tasting experience with Chef Justin Cogley of Michelin One Star and Krug Ambassade Aubergine at L’Auberge Carmel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. This grand celebration of Krug x Flower will take place in Hotel Wailea’s famed Treehouse, nestled among the canopies in the property’s mango and avocado orchard, offering stunning island views.
Guests can also enhance their stay at Hotel Wailea with the exclusive “Krug Champagne Experience” added to their suite booking. This luxurious package features two complimentary bottles of Krug Champagne—one in an elegant Hotel Wailea suite and the other in a private poolside cabana.. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with Petrossian caviar and pampered throughout their stay with a private cabana rental, poolside snacks, and a bespoke flower arrangement in-suite. Departing guests will receive a signature Krug x Flower bag as a keepsake. Available through June 30, 2025, suite rates start at $1,349 per night with a three-night minimum stay.
