AIME 2025 Announces Key Executive Hires Ahead of February Event

The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has announced significant executive hires as it prepares for its 32nd event, scheduled for February 2025.

John Wilson joins AIME as Marketing Director, bringing over 25 years of industry expertise. Wilson, an accomplished event Marketing Director, has previously led teams at Informa, Deutsche Messe, and Foundry (IDG). He will be responsible for global marketing communications at AIME, ensuring the event reaches its international audience effectively.

Joining Wilson is Kayla Elliott, a multi-disciplinary creative storyteller who will serve as Marketing Executive. Elliott will focus on creating engaging content that resonates with AIME’s global audience.

Claire Graham has been appointed Director of Operations and Content. With over 20 years of event management experience, Graham has overseen events like the Taste Festival and the Smooth FM Chocolate Festival. Having successfully managed operations for AIME 2024, she now brings her expertise in-house for the 2025 event.

Also strengthening the operations team is Nissa Ni, appointed as Event and Systems Coordinator. Ni comes from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), AIME’s home, with nearly 15 years of experience.

Event Director Silke Calder expressed excitement over the new team members. “We are thrilled to welcome John, Claire, Kayla, and Nissa to the AIME team. They bring fresh perspectives, skills, and insights that complement and enhance our event experience,” Calder said.

Calder emphasized AIME’s position as the premier event for the international business events community. “The growth of AIME 2024 was phenomenal, and we are confident our team will deliver an even bigger and better event in 2025.”

AIME 2025, managed by Talk2 Media and Events on behalf of the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), is set to be a blockbuster event. It will be held at the MCEC, expanding to 15,000 sqm over 10 bays to accommodate more than 600 exhibitors, 650 hosted buyers, and 20,000 meetings.

The event will run from 10-12 February 2025, with the global exhibitions association UFI co-locating its 2025 Asia-Pacific Conference at MCEC on 13-14 February 2025.
