European airport trade Association, ACI EUROPE, two days ago elected Armando Brunini for a second term as its President.
Mr Brunini, CEO of SEA Milan Airports, was reconfirmed in his position during ACI EUROPE’s 34th Annual Congress and General Assembly, hosted by iGA Istanbul Airport.
Upon his re-election, Mr Brunini said: “My tenure as ACI EUROPE President, yesterday extended for another year, falls at a time of mounting challenges for the European airport industry. In times like this, it is even more crucial for the industry to stay tightly knit and together forge our path forward — working closely with European institutions both at EU and pan-European levels, as well as national governments across our continent. The stakes are high as we strive for a sustainable and decarbonised future, while adapting our business for continued success. Europe’s airports are the beating heart of this continent, and it is an absolute honour for me to continue representing this dynamic community in my second term.”
During this year’s General Assembly, the following airport leaders were also appointed to the Board of ACI EUROPE for a first term: Mr Selahattin Bilgen, CEO, iGA Istanbul Airport (Türkiye), Mr Lukas Brosi, CEO, Zürich Airport (Switzerland), Ms Fanny Charles, CEO, SEALAR (France), Mr Andrzej Ilków, CEO, Polish Airports — Polskie Porty Lotnicze S.A.(Poland), Mr Ken O’Toole, CEO, Manchester Airports Group (United Kingdom), Ms Laila Odina, CEO, Riga Airport (Latvia), Mr Jesús Caballero Pinto, CEO, SOF Connect — Sofia Airport (Bulgaria), Mr Christian Poulsen, CEO, Copenhagen Airports (Denmark).
Appointed to the Board for a second term were Mr Edward Arkwright, Deputy CEO, Groupe ADP (France), Mr Franck Goldnadel, Président du Directoire, Société Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur (France), Mr Serkan Kaptan, CEO, TAV Airports Holding (Türkiye), Mr Kimmo Mäki, CEO, Finavia (Finland), Dr Stefan Schulte, Chairman of the Executive Board, Fraport (Germany).
