AHLA launches T100, uniting top tech experts to advance hospitality industry through innovative tech solutions for enhanced guest experience.
The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) recently unveiled the Global Technology 100 (T100), a premier collective of the world’s foremost experts in hospitality technology. This initiative aims to guide the global hotel industry in effectively utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance guest services and boost profits.
The T100 initiative is a consolidation of three previously separate AHLA advisory groups: the HTNG’s Executive Leadership Group, the Vendor Advisory Council, and the Industry Advisors. This amalgamation under the T100 umbrella enables more efficient collaboration and expedited decision-making among its members.
Through T100, the AHLA is committed to staying abreast of new technological advancements that can elevate guest experiences and profitability. The group will also create and disseminate best practices and resources to advise AHLA members.
The leadership of T100 comprises five distinguished hospitality technology experts:
- Scott Strickland, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, serving as the chair.
- Luis Segredo, Chief Executive Officer of DataTravel LLC, appointed as the vice chair.
- Kristie Goshow, Chief Commercial Officer at KSL Resorts, assuming the role of immediate past chair.
- Jeff Bzdawka, Chief Executive Officer of Knowland, taking on the responsibilities of program and membership chair.
- Bryan Hammer, Vice President of IT at Belmond, acting as the workgroup chair.
The leadership position within the group will rotate to ensure diverse perspectives on technology issues, aiming for solutions that benefit both hoteliers and solution providers.
“T100 is all about ensuring our industry leverages the latest technology to better serve guests, associates, and communities, while maximizing profitability,” said AHLA President & CEO Chip Rogers. “This group is composed of the top hospitality technology leaders on the planet, and together they will serve as the chief driver of innovation throughout our industry.”
