Before heading to AFC Asian Cup 2024 in Qatar, Dubai: Here are things you need to know

The Asian Football Confederation, or AFC, is heading to the 2024 AFC Asia Cup Schedule. There will be 24 national teams competing in this competition. The tournament will comprise 51 games in total. The seven cities of Qatar will host the competitions, and all nine stadiums will host the events.

Qatar, brimming with traditional Bedouin culture, is rich with acute influence exuding out of East Africa, India and elsewhere in the Persian Gulf.

The majority of tourists find January to be comfortable despite it being the coldest month in Qatar. The average daily temperature is approximately 20°C (70°F). According to some, the weather is pleasant and ideal for exploration.

Asia’s senior men’s national teams compete in the AFC Asian Cup, which is the main association football competition among AFC members and determines the winner of the continent. After Copa América, it is the world’s second-oldest continental football championship.

Qatar became a popular hotspot for the World Cup in 2022. But before that, it continued to be known for its commercial place stacked with a small desert-like peninsula.

The inaugural Asian Cup was hosted by South Korea in 1956, and it is overseen by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). On January 12, the opening match will take place at Lusail Stadium in Lusail. Lusail Stadium will host the final, which takes place on February 10, while Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan and Al Thumama Stadium in Doha will hold the semi-final matches.

From January 12–to February 10, 2024, Qatar will host the AFC Asian Cup in 2023. The top 24 Asian teams will compete in the event in nine different venues, with the Lusail Stadium serving as the venue for both the opening and closing games.

On a normal day in January, the average temperature in Doha varies from 59°F (15°C) to 72°F (22°C).

There is something to please every appetite, from gourmet dining establishments to neighbourhood cafes. The most favourable season in Qatar brings vistas from rooftops and terraces that are just spectacular. People in Qatar will be able to savour some Asian cuisine at B-lounge and some European cuisine at Belgian Cafe.
