Bermuda Tourism Authority will return to WTM London with a stronger presence, seeking to boost Bermuda’s position in the UK market and highlight new advancements, including insights from Tracy Berkeley, the organization’s first female CEO.
Several tourism boards are making their first appearance at the event. Sabah in Malaysia, which promotes travel to northern Borneo, and Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city, are trying to enhance their worldwide tourist appeal. Ayana Hospitality, which offers luxury resorts and hotels in Indonesia, and Vietnam’s Thien Minh Group will also be present. Other tourist boards participating include Egypt, Visit Samtskhe-Javakheti, Madhya Pradesh, and many more.
The event highlights UK-based firms such as Trip.com Group, which aims to develop in the European market, and HolidayBest, a package holiday specialist offering a wide range of destinations and vacation types.
Juliette Losardo, exhibition director of World Travel Market London, emphasised the varied spectrum of exhibitors, which included big destinations, boutique operators, and high-tech enterprises. This variety means that visitors, especially travel industry buyers, may network with new and existing clients, strike business agreements, and find inspiration for their future travel endeavours in 2024 and beyond.
