During the first nine months of this year, Denmark witnessed 18.8 million overnight stays in its accommodation establishments.
Also, the Danish island Zealand accounted for nine per cent of overnight stays in September 2023, along with Bornholm and Funen, sharing an equal 4% each.
Denmark registered a total of 39.6 million overnight stays for the whole year. Schengen Visa portal revealed that last year.
This provides a valuable understanding of the long-term trends and sustained attraction of the country of Denmark.
At the end of September 2023, the number of overnight stays spent in Denmark’s accommodation establishments stood at 18.8 million.
Travel industry experts believe that the number will significantly increase over the next months, especially in December.
