World Travel Market London 2023 announces exciting new areas on the exhibition floor

World Travel Market London 2023 is set to introduce three new areas on its exhibition floor – Accommodation & Wholesalers, Experiences, and Transportation.

These areas will replace the International Hub and focus mainly on private-sector and non-destination exhibitors. The decision to introduce these areas follows extensive research conducted earlier this year, indicating a shift towards travel purchasing decisions based on experiences, especially among younger generations.

The changing habits of travellers were highlighted, with Millennials and Gen Z increasingly making choices based on experiences. The new areas are designed to tap into this shift in traveler requirements and offer a place for buyers to discover new and exciting offerings in one location.

The Accommodation & Wholesalers area will feature suppliers like Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Intrepid Travel Group UK, the European Tour Operators Association, and Miki Travel. In the Experiences area, exhibitors such as Go City, Montparnasse 56, XS2Event, Champions Travel Ltd, City Sightseeing, Big Bus Tours, and City Cruises Ltd will be showcased.

The Transportation area will feature representatives from companies like Rail Europe, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Wheego Mobility, Global Passenger Network, Amadeus River Cruises, Dutch Cruise Line BV, and United Rivers AG. These additions align with the changing preferences of travelers looking for more experiential and unique travel opportunities.
