Transatlantic flights between the UK and the US are set to surpass pre-pandemic levels for the Fourth of July holiday.

There are 152 flights scheduled today to the US which represents almost 40,000 seats, according to data compiled by aviation analytics firm Cirium.

That is a 21% increase from last year.

The number of US-bound transatlantic flights are up 5% on July 2019.

New York JFK remains the most popular US destination from the UK.

Next busiest is LAX, Newark, Boston and Chicago.
