Having rich natural curative properties like favorable weather, sulphur water, mineral springs and hot sand.

Egypt is appealing to a growing number of tourists who wish to travel not only for relaxation but also for
medical reasons.

Egypt’s well-known Red Sea resorts are gearing up for medical tourism period starting from April to June, and Safaga, a town off the coast, is not an exemption either. Safaga happens to be one of the largest
international medical centers for healing psoriasis.

The saltiness of the Safaga water is 30 percent more compared to that of the Mediterranean Sea, making it agreeable to treat numerous incurable skin diseases.

The existence of coral reefs in Safaga water helps in curing psoriasis. These coral reefs need high water salt ranging from 32 to 42 parts per thousand. They are in unceasing dissolution, making the water opulent in exceptional minerals.

Besides temperate climate and warm water during the period of April-June, the black sand with luxurious natural minerals in Safaga also attracts tourists from Europe who come looking for natural cure for their
diseases.

To entice more tourists, hotels in Safaga also make a division in the beach for those who look for desert sand baths as a method of cure, in addition to arranging medical crews and assistive strategies for them.
