This workshop was arranged to talk about the ways to improve tourism between the two nations.
While sharing his thoughts at the workshop, Hu Heping, China’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, said that the two countries are popular world destinations for tourists and important sources to each other.
Hu Heping also said that both the countries have good resources in tourism along with great possibility in terms of cooperation and broad space for growth and expansion.
The current revival of the international tourism is speeding up. China and Egypt have ushered in huge possibility to get tourism exchanges and cooperation even deeper.
The minister also mentioned that he expects to strengthen exchanges further and collaboration between Egypt and China in tourism and antiquities.
Ahmed Issa, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, said that Egypt is keen to work with China, in hope of fast tourism growth and exchange of archaeological expertise between the two countries.
He also said that Egypt commends the growth of Chinese excavation missions in Egypt.
China and Egypt are very old civilizations of the world with impressive historic record which is the foundation for intensifying the cultural exchanges and cooperation in tourism, said Liao Liqiang, the Chinese Ambassador to Egypt.
