HRI Hospitality, based in New Orleans, has topped out its new hotel project, Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown.
The 16-story, 306-room hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2024 adjacent to Nashville Yards downtown. An official topping-out ceremony was held late last week at the construction site of the new hotel.
“This topping out represents a significant milestone for the construction of this property and the city of Nashville,” said Michael Coolidge, chief investment and development officer, HRI Hospitality. “We are thrilled to partner with Hilton and Bell Construction to bring a new era of lifestyle hotel to Nashville. Our Tempo by Hilton will offer guests a new and unique experience in downtown, only steps from Lower Broadway, SoBro and the continued development of Nashville Yards.”
Bell Construction is the design-builder with ESa serving as the architect for the project, and Wimberly Design as the project interior designer. Upon completion, the new hotel will feature 10,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a 1,000-sq.-ft. fitness center, an outdoor pool and bar, event lawn and a fifth-floor sky lobby with views of downtown Nashville and Nashville Yards. The property will offer a variety of food and beverage experiences, including a ground-floor Bluestone Lane café with indoor and outdoor patio seating, a fifth-floor lobby bar and lounge with shareable New American dishes and an outdoor pool bar offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu and specialty cocktails.
“We’re delighted to play a role in another landmark Nashville project and our second hotel with HRI following the successful renovation of the Holston House lifestyle hotel,” said Eric Pyle, member/EVP, building operations, Bell. “Our local roots make us especially proud to help transform another corner of downtown Nashville into an exciting hotel destination.”
