Subscription services take off for S. Korean hotels

Subscription to programs for meal kits, flowers, room diffusers and personal care products are surging in South Korea. Hotels are finding that guests are willing to pay premium prices for some of their favorite hotel specialty items like coffee or kimchi.

Hotel developer Midas has agreed to deposit $750,000 to assure the St. Louis Preservation Board that it will build two hotels on land occupied by a former Wells Fargo bank.
