Dare to live the life you’ve always wanted? Do you have a strong desire or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world?
Then Europe is a dream trip. The experience is an education in itself, and ‘once in a lifetime adventure and something awesome to enjoy.’
We have picked a few places for you from famous cities, cultural attractions, museums, galleries to fabulous food and fantastic scenery.
- Swoon over the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France
The Eiffel Tower is the real beacon of Paris, the landmark of the city of lights, the true Iron lady of France’s capital!
There are 1665 steps from the square to the top of the Eiffel Tower. One can walk up the Tower to the 2nd Floor and then take one of the elevators to the top, for an experience that is both physical and breathtaking.
Tickets for the second floor on foot are available online on the Eiffel Tower website. Staircase + top lift tickets are only available on site. In both cases, accessing the Eiffel Tower by taking the stairs is time saving, the queues at the cash registers are much shorter.
2. Stuff yourself rotten in Brussels, Belgium
The Brussels food scene is diverse and delicious. When thinking about things to eat in Brussels, waffles, chocolate and beer might spring to mind. However, Belgium also has many traditional savoury dishes, local favourite Belgian meatballs and decadent Vol – au – vent.
3 Count the minutes in Prague, Czech Republic
Prague’s markets in Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square are among the best in the world. Old Town Square provides endless entertainment in the form of live shows, dance performances and creative workshops, while Wenceslas Square has great treats like Klobasa (Czech sausages) and mulled wine.
Christmas markets are a key ingredient of the festive magic in the Czech Republic, and the Prague markets are the most impressive in the country. They light up the city, bringing locals and tourists together in a true ‘winter wonderland’ setting.
The Prague Christmas Markets consist of brightly decorated wooden huts, stocked with local Handicrafts and traditional Christmas treats.
4. Ride the tram in Lisbon, Portugal
The number 28 tram in Lisbon connects Martin Moniz with Campo Ourique, and passes through the popular tourist districts of Alfama, Baixa, Estrela and Graca.
One of the things Lisbon is most famous for is their brightly coloured trams that run throughout the city. From Tram 28 that does the tourist circuit around the city, to the tram that runs out to Belem, the trams in Lisbon are pretty entertaining to ride on. A single – ride ticket for Tram 28 cost 2.85, but if you plan on wandering around the city all day you might be better off paying 5 for a day pass covering all the metros, buses and trams.
Bonus :- If you’re staying in Reykjavik, devote your evenings to the bustling nightlife! No, not the clubs but the Northern Lights. Each night, our expert aurora guides motor out of Reykjavik in a super jeep for a Northern Lights chase. Join the hunt for the best possibility of catching the aurora.
The glimpse of such experience is always a remembrance. Just be sure to plan as you do not want to miss out on truly enjoying this once in a lifetime opportunity.
