Company announces 17 more flights per week on transatlantic routes,
TAP will strongly increase its flight offer to the Americas in the summer of 2023, offering a total of 17 additional flights during the peak period of operation (from June to September) compared to the same period in 2022 and restoring pre-pandemic offer levels.
For the United States, TAP will offer 14 flights per week to Boston in the peak summer season (three more than in the same period in 2022), five to Chicago (one more), 10 to Miami (three more), five to San Francisco (one more) and 10 to Washington (two more). In total, TAP will offer 10 more flights per week to the United States than in the peak summer of 2022.
In addition to the destinations mentioned, which will see an increase in offer, TAP operates direct flights to New York JFK and New York EWR, airports where it will maintain its levels of offer from Lisbon.
As far as Brazil is concerned, in the peak summer of 2023, TAP will offer four flights a week to Belém, one more than in 2022, seven to Belo Horizonte (one more), six to Salvador (one more), six to Brasília (one more) and 20 to S. Paulo (two more), maintaining its offer compared to the same period last year in the other Brazilian cities where it operates (Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife and Rio de Janeiro). In total, TAP will increase the number of weekly flights to Brazil by six during the peak summer of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
Another new feature is the increase from two to three flights per week between Lisbon and Caracas, allowing an improved offer for the Portuguese community in Venezuela.
In addition to this important reinforcement of its transatlantic flights from Lisbon, TAP will also soon announce good news regarding its intercontinental flights from Porto.
