Campaign for promoting tourism in Egypt during winter

 

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Egypt, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB), unveiled a 6-week publicity drive for boosting the Egyptian tourist destinations during the winter tourist season 2022-2023 in targeted countries, comprising France, Italy, the UK and the US.


This is part of the ministry’s enthusiasm to uphold the Egyptian tourist destinations in several tourist markets for luring more tourist traffic from them, especially during the winter tourist period.


Amr El-Kady, the CEO of the ETPB, said that in the course of this drive, the “Follow the Sun” campaign, launched by the ministry in the focal markets exporting tourism to Egypt during the last winter season, which attained in excess of 130 million views globally will be launched again, with technical alterations to it, in keeping with global progresses.


El-Kady added that this campaign looks forward to encourage long-stay tourism during the winter and gain from the high cost of energy in European countries during the days to come, along with citizens enthusiastic to work distantly.


Suzan Mostafa, the Director General of the Tourism Promotion Department at the ETPB, said that this drive is a combination of publicity films on different social networking sites, besides reports and news stories in worldwide media.
