THAI’s Notification on the Resolution of the Creditors’ Meeting to Consider the Amendment of Business Reorganization Plan

 

On 1 July 2022, the Plan Administrator of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited submitted a petition for amendment of the Business Reorganization Plan to the Official Receiver.  Today (1 September 2022), the Official Receiver held the creditors’ meeting via electronic means (e-Meeting) at 10:00 am.  

THAI is pleased to inform that the creditors’ meeting reached the resolution under section 90/46 of the Bankruptcy Act B.E. 2483 (1940).  The creditors who hold 78.59 percent of the total claims of the creditors who attended the meeting and casted votes accepted the amendment of the Business Reorganization Plan that the Plan Administrator submitted to the Official Receiver.

THAI would like to thank all creditors for the acceptance and the confidence they have shown in THAI’s business reorganization.  This is a significant step in laying the foundation for THAI’s growth and profit-making capability in the future for sustaining THAI as the national flag carrier to support and promote the recovery of Thai economy and society.
