U.S. hotel performance increased from the previous week and showed improved comparisons with 2019, according to STR‘s latest data through Sept. 17.
Sept. 11-17 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019):
Occupancy: 69.6% (-2.4%)
ADR: $155.58 (+15.6%)
RevPAR: $108.25 (+12.9%)
Among the top 25 markets, Norfolk/Virginia Beach reported the highest occupancy increase over 2019 (+6.6% to 70.9%).
Miami reported the largest ADR gain over 2019 (+30.7% to $177.10).
The steepest RevPAR declines were in San Francisco (-23.1% to $203.27) and Houston (-13.0% to $63.58).
